What’s Included?

1.       What is included in the Land Price?

All hotels and transfers. All tours listed. Breakfast every morning. TBD Lunches, TBD dinners.

 

2.       What types of accommodations can I expect?

We will stay at 3 and 4 star hotels. (i.e. Doubletree Hotel Alice Springs)

 

Air Travel

1.       How much are flights? 

3 international airfare options are available:

  • Economy International and Domestic Air = TBD per person
  • Premium Economy International and Domestic Economy Air = TBD per person (Estimated)
  • Business Class International and Domestic Economy Air = TBD per person (Estimated)

 

 2.       Do I have to fly with the group to Australia?

No, you can arrive on your own and meet up with the group at the hotel in Alice Springs on Thursday August 27, 2020.

 

 3.       Do I have to fly out of Australia with the group?

No, you may depart from Melbourne on your own on Monday September 14, 2020.

 

Payment Information

1.       What if I change my mind, Is the deposit refundable?

Yes. The deposit is 100% refundable until May 31, 2020.

 

 2.       When are deposits due?

Your deposit can be put down anytime to secure your space.

 

 3.       When is the final payment due?

Final Payment is due by June 1, 2020

 

 4.       When will we know the final land cost?

March 1, 2020.

 

 5.       Do you recommend travel insurance?

Yes! We recommend travel insurance for everyone and we offer Allianz travel insurance. Please contact us for more information as rates are dependent on the traveler age, state residency, and airfare option.

 

Health/Medical

Standards of hygiene in Australia and New Zealand are very high, and drinking water is safe. 

Vaccinations are not required if you are traveling direct unless you have come from or visited a yellow fever-infected country or zone within six days before arrival in Australia.

 

Cell Phone Access While In Australia

There are 3 options that are available:

1  -  Purchase an International or Australia SIM card.   If you have a newer cell phone that utilizes a SIM card you may be able to change out your SIM card and use your existing phone.  AT&T and Verizon SIM card phones will most likely work while Sprint phones without SIM cards may not.

 

2  -  Purchase or rent an international cell phone package.  You can purchase or rent prepaid phones that will work internationally and you may add additional minutes as necessary.

 

3  -  Continue to use your current provider.  We highly recommend contacting your provider prior to departure to confirm your phone will work in Australia and to add any services for international calling to avoid high international roaming charges.

** The group leader will have a cell phone and that number can be provided to family for emergency purposes only.

 

Miscellaneous

1.       How many people are going?

We will initially open the group with 40 seats. Once those spaces are gone, we will determine if there is enough interest to expand the group. Spaces will be reserved in order of deposit received. We will keep a waiting list if there is more interest than we can accommodate.

 

 2.       Can I be matched with a roommate?

Yes. We will keep a list of single travelers requesting roommates and will provide their contact information to you.
